The Spitzer Connection

“I proudly stand with the Governor” Greg Ball proclaimed on November 7, 2007 when he pledged his alliance to Elliot Spitzer. 

In the spirit of checks and balance, it is the State Legislature that fills the office of State Comptroller in the event of a vacancy.

The State Comptroller is the financial watchdog of all State Agencies and their expenditures.  Theses are the same state agencies who are filled with political appointees of the Governor.

Can you imagine if Elliot Spitzer was allowed to place his own hand picked person in to the position that audits all state expeditures?

We know what disgraced Elliot Spitzer did with the trooper gate scandal and his illegal involvement with a high priced prostitution ring and of course all of his claims to reform Albany.
